Home > Product Overview > Ipedo XML Store
The XML Store provides a configurable, searchable repository for information you choose to persist. This repository supplements the caching component of the Dual-Core Query Manager and complements built-in relational storage. Administrators can store any data as XML, regardless of its original source. The XML Store can archive information for longer-term applications such as compliance or version control or maintain an operational data store.

Key Benefits
  • Reduces load on back-end systems by storing frequently used information as XML
  • Automatically replicates key information according to user-defined rules
  • Manages different versions of documents to comply with internal or external regulatory requirements
  • Indexes XML documents intelligently using knowledge of underlying schemas
  • Manages schemas and allows data exchange between different versions or dialects of the same schema, or even different schemas
Key Features
  • Persistent Storage
Maintain a searchable XML repository for unstructured data to complement built-in caching and relational data storage.

  • Index Manager
Indexing down to the XML node level speeds information retrieval. Information is indexed at a highly granular level and indexes are automatically regenerated to insure consistent search performance and quality.

  • XML Schema Manager
Manages the schemas for document collections. Supports schema evolution - maps: documents into new schemas when changes are made.

  • Native XML Storage
Hierarchical storage engine highly optimized for XML information provides both document-level as well as node-level access to XML.

  • Archiving
Provides persistent storage for maintaining different versions of documents or keeping searchable archives for compliance purposes.

  • Version Control / History
Track different versions of changing documents including complete revision history by user, date, or field label.
