Ipedo Chosen by Anhui Electric to Manage Risk in China's Energy Market
Unified View Across Relational Databases and Power Meter Feeds Reduces Market and Credit Risk
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., January 10, 2005 – Ipedo, a leading provider of enterprise information integration software, today announced that Anhui Electric Power Group has chosen Ipedo as the foundation for their new risk management system. Anhui Electric, one of China's largest electricity providers, will leverage Ipedo's integration software to gather information needed to assess credit risk and stop power theft.
Ipedo will provide Anhui Electric with its Ipedo XML Intelligence Platform (XIP) to manage and integrate customer records, billing data and real-time feeds from power meters. The Ipedo XML Intelligence Platform (XIP) will be deployed as a key component of Anhui Electric's new risk assessment system.

Ipedo XIP will be used to extract raw data, in real time, from legacy systems and deliver consolidated information to financial and risk analysis models. Using Ipedo's XML-based technology, processed results are fed to a Web portal that provides statistics, reports, charts and other business intelligence capabilities to support rapid decision making.
