Ipedo Signs Technology Partnership with Teradata

Enterprise Information Integration (EII) Platform Expands Data Source Reach, Expedites Warehouse Development

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 24, 2005 – Ipedo, a leading provider of enterprise information integration (EII) software, today announced the signing of a technology partnership with Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation. The partnership will provide Teradata customers with broader data access to sources that can be positioned to grow their data warehouse environment over time.

As part of the agreement, Ipedo has integrated and optimized its EII platform to support the Teradata warehouse. Ipedo XIP is an EII platform that gives data architects and developers the opportunity to prototype a new environment before spending the time and incurring the cost of data movement and data warehouse operations. This solution is also useful for queries that are made on an infrequent basis where no existing infrastructure already exists.

In addition, Ipedo XIP can be used to combine information from Web Services or XML feeds with data in a Teradata warehouse, including financial data, stock quote information, new inventory data, etc. Ipedo adds advanced XML processing capabilities that can dynamically present combinations of data from external feeds with data from the Teradata warehouse to existing reporting and analytic applications.
