Ipedo Announces Enterprise Beta Program for New "Dual-Core" Version of XML Intelligence Platform

Participants Can Test New "Dual-Core" SQL/XQuery Engine, Caching, Visual Tools

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., September 13, 2004 – Ipedo, a leading provider of information integration and intelligence software, today announced an enterprise Beta Test Program for the Ipedo XML Intelligence Platform (XIP), which helps organizations integrate and leverage their information assets. Designed specifically to reduce cost and complexity of information delivery and analysis, Ipedo XIP integrates and manages information from disparate, complex data sources and enables real-time business decisions.

The Beta Test Program, which begins the week of October 11 and runs through November, has been designed to allow select customers and partners to provide feedback and influence product direction on Ipedo XIP. The program will also feature an extensive set of tests with leading BI and reporting tools.

	Key new features include:
			New "Dual Core" Query Engine – processes SQL or XQuery queries, or combinations of SQL and XQuery, through a unified interface
			Automated Data Lineage and Compliance Tagging – inserts searchable metadata tags that contain information on data source, access time and other statistics, creating an audit trail for compliance needs
			Intelligent View Caches – automatically caches views based on use patterns or policy to deliver faster response time and reduce loads on back-end systems
			Enhanced Mapping and Modeling Tools – allow simplified data discovery and automated query creation through intuitive visual tools

Availability
