Ipedo Announces XBRL Accelerator

New Module Simplifies Integration and Analysis for Financial Reporting Standard

XBRL INTERNATONAL CONFERENCE, Seattle, Washington, November 3, 2003 – Ipedo, a leading provider of software that delivers information on demand, today announced the availability of its XBRL Accelerator. Designed to simplify the process of integrating, managing and analyzing financial information, the XBRL Accelerator allows organizations easily move toward XBRL in their organizations.

The Ipedo XBRL Accelerator is a set of software components that allows an organization to integrate with their existing finance and reporting architecture. IT staff can quickly aggregate and integrate financial and historical data from multiple systems. Financial analysts can audit and track financial report data. Market analysts can search and analyze XBRL documents, and combine with other information sources for greater insight. Designed to work with existing financial systems and portals, the Ipedo XBRL Accelerator can help:

Financial Data Aggregation – Allows on demand pulls of information from financial system, database and document repositories. Using XML-based integration, the data can be aggregated into new XML or XBRL formats.
Management and Audit – Provides detailed transactional storage of XBRL documents and taxonomies, including versioning. Can also provide query against XBRL instance documents to watch access patterns and respond to business rules.
Analysis – Provides detailed search across large collections of local and remote XBRL documents to look for patterns and analyze trends. Information from XBRL can be combined with and compared to outside systems like stock quote and news services.
